"And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it; for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace." These were compelling and challenging words to a people in the grip of Babylonian captivity. The thought is God has a plan in every situation which God allows the Lord’s people. These words are no less compelling to us (Christians) today as we embrace the message of the gospel allowing that message to change our lives. In turn we are to seek the peace of those around us understanding that until we achieve their peace we will not be whole. That is the God given mandate of the Shiloh Baptist Church family.
Greetings in the name of our risen Lord and Saviour! We welcome you to the Shiloh Baptist Church website. We are very happy you have decided to visit our site and pray that something you see here will lead you to come and worship with us soon. Our goal for this site is to have it serve as an effective vehicle of inspiration, communication and education. Your Christian brothers and sisters here at Shiloh are eager to share with you and show you the love and glory of Jesus Christ.
