Mission Statement

As Shiloh Baptist Church, we are a family (fellowship) of believers sharing a common commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, we are growing toward Christian maturity with worship, proclamation, witness, nurture, education and ministry to the world. We do this so that God’s purpose may be achieved – in us (our local fellowship), in the community (including the wider faith community) and in the world. We believe the Lord is leading us to establish a Shalom Community within the congregation with an eye toward impacting the community where we minister. The Spirit of the Lord is upon us because He has anointed us to preach good news to the poor. He sends us to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s Favor.
Ministry calls us to positive action as we follow Jesus’ example.
